Hart R2X has the Rps1c gene for Phytophthora resistance. It is a good idea to rotate the genes through fields to avoid resistant populations from building up.

Hart R2X is a medium tall plant. Taller than Mahony R2, but shorter than Bourke R2X.

Hart R2X is a variety that branches out.
